- Zora, he can't be re-elected, thank goodness, because of term limits. He has vowed today to find a way to fund these vouchers with another part of the state's budget. There are only two places he can take money (thanks to constitutional mandates/protections): higher education and public hospitals.

- As a very young child, I could hardly eat anything because I had such bad tonsils my throat stayed sore all the time. I lived on canned bartlet pears for the most part because they were soft and sweet. Once my tonsils were removed, I quickly discovered I loved food (especially sweets).

- Colleges aren't jacking up the price of tuition just because they can. It's because they have to in almost every case. Most states have cut funding to higher education to the bone. I haven't had a raise in seven--that's right, SEVEN years--because of this.

- It's common practice for casinos to have strict dress codes: females are instructed how to wear their hair (cut, color, and style), do their nails (manicure and polish color), apply their make up, etc. They're told how much they must weigh, and they're told exactly how their uniforms must fit.
